Once upon a time, a woman dared to dream, she dared to believe, she dared to speak. It wasn’t a prince charming she dreamt of, she dreamt of being her own prince charming. It wasn’t fairy tales she believed in, she believed that there was still good left in the world. It wasn’t the foul language that she dared to speak, to dared to utter the unheard, unspoken voices of the suppressed.

Too bad her dreams could never be turned to reality.. too bad her beliefs could never be proved right… too bad her voice remained unheard. You see, when a foetus of the girl child is killed, a lifetime of dreaming, speaking and believing dies along with her.
